About Psychs in Schools

The Psychs in School Program was developed by Jesse Diggins and Nathan Castle who identified a need to access the best quality mental health support in schools. For students, teachers and families.

In 2020, they started partnering with Universities to find a way to provide an approach that improved student wellbeing at low cost. The result was developing a co-therapy model based on CBT and Feedback Informed treatment to improve mental health across schools. A support system to monitor success of treatments was integrated into the program and Senior Psychologists provide oversight and support to all student treatments.

The cornerstone of a great education is students feeling good in themselves first. Psychs in Schools makes this accessible to every school.

  • "Having Psychs in Schools working with us at Coral Park Primary School has been amazing. From the simple, straight forward on-boarding process to begin with, to working with the service on site two days a week through to hearing the positive and proactive engagement between the Psychs in Schools team and teaching staff. All elements have been a worthy addition to our wellbeing at school. We very much look forward to working with them again in 2024. "

  • "We've been connected with the Psychs in Schools program during 2023 and have nothing but positives to say. Communication with their team has been easy, timely and proactive. Any queries we've had have been followed up and the online consent form has made the process accessible to our families. The ability to provide psychology supports in school, with session numbers not limited has been invaluable. We would definitely recommend the Psychs in Schools service and hope to continue using them in the future. "
