Psychs in Schools Research and Data Usage Consent Statement

Use of Data for Research Purposes

In our ongoing efforts to improve the quality of care we provide to children and adolescents, we may use the data we collect during your time in treatment for research purposes. This involves sharing the data (without names, addresses or other identifying information) with a University to find out how treatment works and for whom. This is in line with our goal to understand better what treatment methods are most effective, the best methods to train psychologists and how we can continually evolve in our approach to psychological care.

What Information is Collected?

The data collected may include referral reasons, treatment goals, symptom scores and other metrics and assessments gathered as part of routine outcome monitoring.

Anonymity and Confidentiality

All information used for research purposes will be fully anonymized and aggregated so that individual identities will not be able to be identified. Any direct identifiers such as names, contact details, and other personal information will be removed or coded before data analysis.

Voluntary Participation

Participation in such research is entirely voluntary. You may choose not to have your data included in research studies without any effect on the quality of care you receive.

Right to Withdraw

You have the right to withdraw your consent for the use of your data in research at any time without any negative consequences on your treatment. If you do want to withdraw your consent at any time please submit this in writing to info@psychsinschools.com

Data Security

All data used for research will be securely stored and only accessible by authorized members of Psychs in Schools and the research team. Any external sharing or publication of research findings will not include any information that could identify individual participants.
